Welcome to 216Stitches! This is the start of what I hope will be an exciting project. The site will provide year round coverage of Major League Baseball as well the Australian Baseball League.

216Stitches aims to be informative, to build on and to contribute to the impressive array of public baseball research and of course, to present this in an engaging way to you, the Reader. I hope it will be as exciting for you as it is for me. This site will be a collaborative space, I will present my ideas – they are contestable. Of course, Baseball is where it is today because of the public contestation of ideas, those which would ultimately lead to what we now know as Sabermetrics and those that continue to evolve the game today.
